Step into an impactful contract role working with students in an elementary autism program near Kansas City, MO. We’re seeking an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a maternity leave coverage from August 17, 2026, to September 4, 2026. This full-time position runs Monday through Friday, 9am to 4:40pm, and offers the rewarding opportunity to support students’ communication growth onsite in a dedicated program setting.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Current and active SLP licensure (CCC required)
• Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting, ideally with autism programs
• Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, paraprofessionals, and families
• Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
• Commitment to evidence-based practices and individualized student care

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver targeted speech-language therapy to students in an autism program
• Conduct assessments and monitor progress for IEP goals
• Develop and implement appropriate therapy interventions
• Contribute to multidisciplinary team meetings and collaborate with school staff
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services
• Provide support and resources to families as needed during the assignment
