Staff Accountant

Addison Group has partnered with a major manufacturer in Fort Worth, TX, to find a talented Staff Accountant to join their team on a full-time basis. Job Title: Staff Accountant Location: Fort Worth, TX (Hybrid!) Job Type: Full-Time | Direct Hire Salary: $85,000-$95,000 BOE + Bonus Job Duties: Assist with month-end close activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reporting. Prepare and maintain balance sheet reconciliations and support the general ledger. Perform inventory and account reconciliations while assisting with cycle counts and physical inventories. Support accounts receivable, invoicing, and other day-to-day accounting operations. Assist with annual audits by preparing schedules and responding to auditor requests. Monitor financial activity, investigate discrepancies, and recommend process improvements. Partner with operations and other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting. Assist with ad hoc projects and process improvement initiatives as the company continues to grow. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. 2+ years of accounting experience. Manufacturing or inventory accounting experience is preferred. Experience with month-end close and general ledger accounting. Strong Excel skills and experience working within an ERP system. Self-motivated with excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
