Job Overview A law firm seeks a Leveraged Finance Associate to join its Global Finance Group in Washington, D.C. The role involves working on leveraged finance transactions, including acquisition financings, refinancings, and restructuring‑related financings. Duties Draft and negotiate transaction documents. Lead financing transactions for borrower and lead arranger clients. Requirements Minimum of three years of experience with syndicated lending and/or private credit/direct lending. Experience representing borrowers or lead arrangers. Strong experience with sponsor finance/LBO finance preferred. Admission or eligibility for admission to the Washington D.C. bar. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree. Certifications Admission to the bar in Washington D.C. or eligibility for admission. Skills Proficiency in drafting and negotiating complex financial documents.
