Job DescriptionAs a Security Officer Shopping Center in Irvine, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a retail and mall location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. You will support a welcoming environment for guests, tenants, and staff while responding to concerns with professionalism and integrity. Pay Rate: $21.50 / Hour

- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, shoppers, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, service requests, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of retail common areas, storefronts, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points, observe activity throughout the location, and report unusual conditions or policy concerns according to site procedures.
- Document incidents, patrol activities, and customer service interactions accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and/or emergency responders as needed.
Minimum Requirements:
- The ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- A Guard Card/License is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
