Location: Chicago and Surrounding Suburbs
Have You Worked Events for Solar, Roofing, Mitigation, or Plumbing Companies?If you’ve been the face of a home services brand at home shows, festivals, retail stores, or community events, we want to talk to you. You already know how to stop a homeowner, start a real conversation, and turn it into a booked appointment. Now bring that experience to a growing team that runs events all year long.
We are building a high-energy events team to represent our brand across the Chicago area. If you love meeting homeowners, thrive in busy environments, and want to grow your marketing and sales career in the home services industry, this could be a great fit. What You Will Be Doing
As an Event Marketer, you will be out in the community at home shows, local events, pop-ups, and partner locations, connecting with homeowners and creating real conversations.
Your role is simple but powerful: turn everyday interactions with homeowners into booked appointments.
- Represent our brand at home shows, local events, and community spaces
- Engage with homeowners in a friendly, confident, and natural way
- Start conversations and build quick rapport
- Explain our home services in a clear and engaging way
- Book in-home appointments on the spot with interested homeowners
- Capture lead information accurately
- Create a positive, memorable experience for every interaction
- Set up and tear down events
- Prepare materials and displays for events

What We Are Looking For
- Experience doing event marketing, canvassing, or appointment setting for home services companies (solar, mitigation, roofing, plumbing, HVAC, windows, siding, or similar)
- Outgoing, talkative, and confident personality
- Comfortable approaching homeowners and speaking to new people
- Positive, energetic, and self-motivated
- Strong communication, organizational, and people skills
- Adaptable in fast-paced public environments
- Enjoys being out in the field, not behind a desk
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license
- Reliable personal vehicle
- Willingness to travel to event locations across Chicagoland
- Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends
- Comfortable working outdoors or indoors in public-facing environments
Nice to Have
- A track record of hitting appointment or lead targets
- Experience with home shows or retail partner events (Home Depot, Costco, Menards, etc.)
- Background in sales, promotions, or customer service
- Interest in building a long-term career in marketing
