L&S Assistant Procurement Manager - MGF Heavy & Bulky NAM-2

We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Procurement Specialist to lead the sourcing and onboarding of independent haulers to support our final mile delivery operations. This role is pivotal in ensuring reliable, cost-effective, and scalable transportation solutions by building a robust network of independent carriers. The ideal candidate will have strong negotiation skills, a deep understanding of the logistics industry, and the ability to manage vendor relationships with precision and professionalism. Key Responsibilities Independent Hauler Sourcing & Onboarding Vendor Management Contract Negotiation & Compliance Cross-Functional Collaboration Market Intelligence & Strategy Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience). 3+ years of experience in procurement, logistics, or transportation sourcing, preferably with independent contractors. Strong negotiation and vendor management skills. Familiarity with transportation management systems (TMS) and procurement platforms. Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Preferred Skills Experience in final mile delivery or gig economy logistics. Knowledge of DOT regulations and carrier compliance standards. Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus for broader hauler engagement. Salary $70,000 - $85,000* Benefits Full time employees are eligible for Health Insurance, Paid Time Off, and 401k Match * The above stated pay range is the anticipated starting salary range for this position. The Company may adjust this range in light of prevailing market conditions and other factors such as location.
