Registered Nurse - ICU

Job Description

Job Summary:
Provide compassionate and expert critical care to ICU patients during night shifts, ensuring optimal patient outcomes. Utilize advanced clinical skills to monitor, assess, and manage critically ill patients in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Administer specialized nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU setting.
• Monitor patient vital signs, interpret ECG rhythms, and respond promptly to changes in condition.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and progress.
• Ensure compliance with all facility and state licensing, certification, and safety requirements.
• Participate in ongoing training, including annual competency modules and assessments.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active Ohio license or a compact state license at the time of application.
• Possess a minimum of 18 months of ICU experience in a comparable setting.
• Maintain current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Successfully pass ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments.
• Demonstrate proficiency in critical care clinical skills and adherence to travel compliance requirements.
• Have references from recent management within the past 12 months.
