Fund Services is responsible for the financing, accounting, and operations for these investment funds. Fund Services is comprised of four teams:1) Fund Control & Operations2) Fund Treasury & Custody3) Fund Infrastructure & Analysis4) Fund Reporting & Audit.The Financial Reporting Analyst will be a member of the Fund Reporting & Audit team which has the primary responsibility of supporting the successful completion of annual fund financial statement audits and regulatory filings. This role will require frequent interaction and collaboration with other Wellington teams and service providers (Custodians, Fund Administrators, Auditors).ResponsibilitiesAssist with the annual audit process, including financial statement reviews, and work closely with fund auditors and service providersPerform a variety of daily/weekly/monthly centralized activities, such as regulatory filings, client reporting, and management reportingAssist with process improvement efforts by helping to identify, develop and implement enhancementsRespond to internal and external inquiries on a broad array of topicsSupport projects associated with the funds, Wellington’s operational and systems infrastructure and service providersContribute to enhancing internal controls and process documentationDevelop relationships with Wellington’s centralized teams and external service providersUtilize IT skills and knowledge to identify and implement efficiencies where possibleQualifications College undergraduate degree in accounting, finance, or business5-10 Years of experience from a public accounting firm, asset management firm, and/or fund administratorVery strong attention to detail and organizational skillsStrong written and verbal communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with other individualsA natural curiosity and desire to expand one’s knowledge and roleAdvanced Excel, Access skills, business intelligence/IT skills using Alteryx, SQL, Tableau or a desire to develop themA proactive nature in developing and improving processesDesire and ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, performing multiple tasks and balancing competing prioritiesAbility to work independently and solve problemsProgress towards a CPA, CFA, CAIA or MBA is a plusNot sure you meet 100% of our qualifications? The base salary range for this position is:USD 80,000 - 150,000This range takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered when making compensation decisions, including but not limited to skill sets; role; skills and experience; certifications; and education.
