Electrical EngineerThe Electrical Engineer will work on electrical problems of moderate scope, supporting manufacturing operations and automation initiatives. This role focuses on plant support, electrical systems reliability, and continuous improvement within a production environment. The engineer will assist with projects, troubleshoot electrical systems, and contribute to automation and efficiency improvements across the facility.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport electrical systems within a manufacturing environment, including troubleshooting and root cause analysisProgram, troubleshoot, and maintain PLCs (Allen Bradley) and associated control systemsWork with HMI systems, remote I/O, and industrial communication networksAssist in planning, development, and testing of electrical systems and equipmentSupport continuous improvement and automation initiatives across production processesCollaborate with maintenance teams to improve system reliability and uptimeWork with internal teams and external vendors/contractors to execute projectsMonitor system performance and recommend process improvementsEnsure compliance with safety, quality, and operational standardsProvide technical support to production and maintenance teamsWork on medium voltage systems and machine control systems (PLCs, servos)Must-Have Skills• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field• 2+ years of Electrical Engineering experience• Experience with Allen Bradley PLCs and industrial automation• Strong work ethic and self-starter attitude• Ability to manage budgets related to plant operationsRequired Skills• Hands-on experience with PLC programming and troubleshooting• Experience with Rockwell software, HMI, and remote I/O systems• Knowledge of industrial ethernet and machine networking• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve electrical system issuesPreferred / Nice-to-Have Skills• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills• Experience managing contractors and maintenance technicians• Experience designing and overseeing electrical control systems• Exposure to automation and continuous improvement initiativesIndustry Experience• Manufacturing / Industrial environment required• Experience with production processes and equipment maintenance preferredEducation• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related fieldAdditional Notes• Position focuses on plant operations, automation, and maintenance support• Ideal candidate will be hands-on and comfortable working on the production floor• Experience with medium voltage systems and machine controls (PLCs, servos) is highly preferred
