Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate the specific symptoms and challenges faced by clients, addressing the severity, frequency, and duration of mood disorders.

• Collaboratively design and implement personalized treatment plans that reflect the unique needs, preferences, and goals of each client.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to effectively treat clients suffering from mood disorders.

• Provide clients and their families with educational resources and support regarding mood disorders, treatment options, and effective self-care strategies.

• Monitor client progress throughout the course of treatment and make appropriate adjustments to the therapeutic approach as needed.

• Engage in regular consultations with medical professionals, including psychiatrists, to ensure integrated care that addresses both psychological and medical needs.

• Stay informed on current research and emerging trends in the treatment of mood disorders to enhance clinical knowledge and practices.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of California.

• Demonstrated expertise in evidence-based treatment modalities for mood disorders, including but not limited to CBT and DBT.
