Contracts Specialist
$35.41 per hourAbout the Role We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented EAP Department Assistant to support our Employee Assistance Program (EAP) and Behavioral Health operations. In this fully onsite role, you will play a critical part in ensuring smooth daily operations by assisting with provider contracting, credentialing, payment coordination, and client support activities. The ideal candidate is a proactive communicator who excels in a fast-paced environment and has a foundational background in healthcare administration. Key Responsibilities Operations & Contracting: Support provider contracting, recruitment, and credentialing/re-credentialing processes; maintain all executed provider and employer contracts. Provider Relations: Act as a primary point of contact for provider inquiries, supporting ongoing recruiting plans and network expansion activities. Financial Coordination: Assist with weekly payment extracts, Accounts Payable coordination, month-end financial summaries, and invoice distribution. Data & Documentation: Maintain accurate records for contracts, providers, payments, and reporting within internal CRMs and tracking systems. Compliance & Reporting: Assist with required regulatory and compliance reporting, including Schedule A and Form 5500. Event & Client Support: Coordinate wellness fairs, employee orientations, and similar onsite events; manage the inventory of promotional materials. Marketing Assistance: Help prepare business proposals, educational documents, marketing assets, and client-facing reference materials. Process Improvement: Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance cross-functional workflows. Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. 1+ years of experience in healthcare administration, provider services, contract support, or a related administrative environment. Familiarity with provider contracting, credentialing, re-credentialing, or administrative workflow support. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with data entry skills. Experience utilizing CRM platforms, contract management software, or internal tracking systems. Excellent organizational, communication, and critical thinking skills. Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain strict accuracy in a fast-paced setting. Ability to work fully onsite and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. salary: $35.41 - $35.42 per hour
