Pocono Ambulatory Surgery Center (PASC) opened in 1986 in the Stroudsburg Borough of Monroe County as an Ophthalmic Surgery Center. In 1990, PASC became multi-specialty and became SPH Analytics winners for 2015-2016, 2016-2017, and 2018-2019 for demonstrating excellence in patient satisfaction.

Case Assignments: Ophthalmology, endo, ortho, plastics, general

Shifts: 7am - 5pm, Monday - Friday. No nights, call, or weekends

Requirements and Responsibilities

• Pre-anesthesia assessment
• Obtains and/or verifies patient consent
• Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient
• Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
• Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition
• Performance of clinical intervention as needed

Requirements: Current license as a registered professional nurse. Graduation from an accredited program of nurse anesthesia education. Certified or recertified by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists
