Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) Subspecialist – Rank/Track dependent on qualifications The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Utah Health Sciences is seeking a full‑time board‑eligible/board‑certified Maternal‑Fetal Medicine (MFM) subspecialist or MFM‑Geneticist to join a successful academic division. Candidates should have demonstrated competence and experience in clinical Maternal‑Fetal Medicine, obstetric ultrasound, and invasive fetal diagnostic procedures. Applicants with special expertise in one or more areas (perinatal genetics, fetal diagnosis and intervention) are particularly encouraged to apply. Job duties will predominately consist of interpreting obstetric ultrasound and working in a multidisciplinary setting at the Grant Scott Bonham Fetal Center at Primary Children’s Hospital, Salt Lake City, UT. Experience in a setting where fetal intervention procedures were performed is preferred. Responsibilities Interpreting obstetric ultrasound and leading fetal diagnostic procedures. Working within a multidisciplinary team at the Grant Scott Bonham Fetal Center. Expanding clinical, research, and education missions of the division. Providing outstanding clinical care and contributing to education of fellows, residents, and medical students. Promoting communication and team‑building within the department and across departments. Qualifications Board‑eligible or board‑certified in Maternal‑Fetal Medicine. Demonstrated experience in clinical MFM, obstetric ultrasound, and invasive fetal diagnostic procedures. Special expertise in areas such as perinatal genetics, fetal diagnosis, or fetal intervention preferred. Leadership experience in advancing clinical, research, or education objectives.
