Position Information Position / Rank: Academic Multi-specialty Radiologists Assistant, Associate or Full Professor Department: Department of Radiology and Imaging Sciences Location: Salt Lake City, UT Track: Dependent on qualifications Start Date: 11/01/2023 Overview The University of Utah Department of Radiology and Imaging Sciences seeks talented radiologists to join our new Section Multi-specialty X (MSX). We offer a supportive and collaborative environment with both onsite and remote coverage, flexible schedules, and the convenience of working from home via our state‑of‑the‑art PACS system. Evening and overnight coverage opportunities are available. As a member of our team, you will engage in cutting‑edge clinical research, contribute to field advancements, and possibly assume departmental leadership roles. You will also play a vital role in teaching residents and fellows and participate in professional societies. Qualifications Certified or eligible by the American Board of Radiology (or equivalent) with subspecialty fellowship training. Strong passion for innovative clinical services and radiology education. Exceptional clinical and interpersonal skills. Eligible to obtain a physician license in the state of Utah. Facilities and Institution Our department serves multiple settings, including University Hospital, Huntsman Cancer Hospital, and community clinics. We offer robust residency programs in Diagnostic Radiology and Interventional Radiology. Our imaging resources include multiple 3T MRIs, dual‑energy CTs, intraoperative MRI, MR‑guided focused ultrasound, PET‑CT scanners, and a large research laboratory.
