Role Description The Property Manager for student housing at BSC Holdings is a full-time, on-site role based in Greensboro, NC. This role oversees the daily operations of a student housing community, including leasing activities, resident relations, property maintenance coordination, and compliance with company policies and housing regulations. The Property Manager manages rent collection, renewals, move-ins and move-outs, and ensures that all resident inquiries and concerns are handled promptly and professionally. Responsibilities include supervising on-site staff, collaborating with maintenance vendors, monitoring budgets and expenses, and preparing reports on occupancy and property performance. Qualifications
- Property management and leasing skills, including experience with student or multifamily housing operations, rent collection, and resident lifecycle processes.
- Customer service and communication skills to address resident inquiries, resolve conflicts, and maintain positive relationships with students, families, and vendors.
- Organizational and administrative skills, such as recordkeeping, scheduling, report preparation, and basic budgeting or financial tracking.
- Team leadership and collaboration skills, including supervising on-site staff, coordinating with maintenance teams, and working effectively with corporate support.
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills to respond to emergencies, maintenance issues, and occupancy challenges in a timely and responsible manner.
- Comfort with property management software, email and productivity tools, and basic computer proficiency.
- Ability to work on-site in Greensboro, NC, with flexibility for peak student housing periods (such as move-in, move-out, and leasing seasons).
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in business, real estate, or a related field is beneficial.
- Prior experience in property management, student housing, hospitality, or a related service-oriented field is preferred.
