Location Various school locations throughout Manhattan and Ogden Salary $18.00/hour. This position is not eligible for benefits. Hours Per Day Terms of Employment**: Positions available during the regular school year. Reports To Director of Communications and Safety/Building Principal. Performance will be evaluated in accordance with the Board of Educations policy on the evaluation of personnel. Job Duties Reports to parents, school personnel, physicians, clinics, and other agencies on school medical matters. Assumes responsibility for the first aid care of a student or staff member who has suffered injury or illness Provides health education on an individual basis. Visits home of students when necessary or when referred by principals. Advises on modification of the educational program to meet health needs of individual students. Advises teachers on health matters, particularly regarding screening for student health problems. Interprets laws relating to school health. Assists school personnel in establishing healthy conditions in schools. Performs other duties as assigned. FLSA Status:**Non-Exempt.
