2nd Shift Maintenance Mechanic

Description Overview Maintain and troubleshoot mechanical aspects of manufacturing/packaging equipment and facilities per standard operating procedures. Complete work orders for skilled maintenance activities. Perform maintenance, repair, improvements, set-ups, troubleshooting, follow‑up, Root Cause Analysis, Reliability Maintenance, and report to supervisor for packaging and compounding equipment. Handle special assignments/projects as needed; work rotational schedules and overtime as required; operate with little to general supervision and use independent judgment. Scope of the Role Complete daily Maintenance Tracker and conduct walk‑throughs of designated areas. Perform preventive maintenance for packaging, compounding, and warehouse equipment. Perform packaging/compounding equipment repairs (MTCE). Train production personnel on proper equipment use. Set up, fine‑tune, and troubleshoot equipment using Root Cause Analysis methods. Experience Required / Qualifications Five (5) years hands‑on mechanical experience with packaging equipment in pharmaceutical, food, packaging, or similar manufacturing. Successful completion of an accredited certification program in mechanical engineering/mechanical design/troubleshooting (or similar). OR Three (3) years as a Perrigo Set Up Tech plus at least two years completed education and active enrollment in a Mechanical/Industrial/Production/Electromechanical Engineering program at an accredited university/college.
