Food Server at Yellowstone Club

Yellowstone Mountain Club, LLC d/b/a Yellowstone Club, located in Big Sky, Montana, seeks thirty-nine (39) full-time, temporary Food Servers who will be responsible for following all F&B standard operating procedures, following all F&B sequence of service standards to include greeting customers, setting up the dining areas (which consists of checking under tables and in chairs for any debris, and using a vacuum or broom/dust pan if needed, wiping crumbs off chairs and booths in

dining room, checking all table bases for cleanliness, wiping down server trays, replenishing marking trays, filling water containers, polishing glassware, plateware, and silver ware using a polishing rag, making silverware set-ups, restocking server stations with rollup, glassware, and plateware, placing silverware set-ups, glassware, and bread and butter plates on table, checking salt and pepper shakers on table and refilling if needed, and making sanitation buckets for cleaning. In a buffet setting, Food Servers will clean chafers using stainless steel polish and a towel, fill chaffing dishes with hot water using a pitcher for hot water, placing sternos underneath and lighting with a lighter, placing serving utensils, plates, and bowls in buffet area, and placing buffet labels out in holders), taking and placing orders, presenting menus, assisting and guiding members and guests to select food and/or beverages, relaying all allergies, dietary restrictions, and special requests to the culinary team, carrying trays and plates, serving food and beverages, cleaning and clearing tables, and performing opening and closing duties as assigned by management (opening duties consist of stocking hand and toe warmers and water bottles in bathrooms and by host stand, turning music and lights on, sweeping and mopping, brewing coffee and filling hot water container, stocking beverage, beer, and wine, making sure condiments are full and wiped down, cutting lemons and limes using a cutting board and knife, restocking supplies such as cups, dairy items, and hand warmers, turning on and filling up bread warmer, and checking over dates on all supplies in server station. At restaurants, Food Servers will need to remove snow with a shovel if needed and set up ski racks on the snow, starting the fireplace using a paper and lighter, and remove ash from the fireplace using a small shovel and bucket. Closing duties consist of taking out garbage, cardboard, broken glass, and linens, dumping hot water and coffee, cleaning hot chocolate machine, refilling coffee beans, and cleaning espresso machine, wiping down server station and checking if it needs to be restocked, sweeping, mopping, polishing glassware and silverware, bussing and resetting tables, checking condiment caddies, checking the heaters are on, cleaning drip trays under beverage machines, cleaning soda machine, dumping and rinsing coffee and tea urns, turning off and cleaning soup cup warmer, restocking roll ups, pulling ski racks up on the deck, and turning off music and lights). Food Servers are frequently required to lift up to 40 pounds.

Will report directly to the Restaurant Manager at Yellowstone Club.

All worksites located in Gallatin and Madison Counties in Montana. Occasional travel throughout this area is required. All worksites are within a normal commuting distance (less than one (1) hour) of the primary job location. Transportation between worksites is provided.

Transportation is available to and from the housing venues to Yellowstone Club. Employees who do not stay in employee housing must provide their own transportation to the transportation pickup and drop-off spots. Additional 3rd Party transportations (free and/or self-pay) are available through public services such as Skyline, Streamline, LMLC, UBER/Lyft, and/or Taxi services.

On-the-job training is provided.

Service-charge eligible position with guaranteed wage of $20.61 per hour, paid bi-weekly. Overtime is available at $30.92 per hour. Employer will guarantee wage in any given workweek when total compensation (including service charges) does not meet prevailing wage rate or overtime wage rate.

A single workweek will be used to compute wages due.

Optional seasonal housing is offered on a first-come, first-served basis for workers who are relocating to begin employment. Yellowstone Club has several housing venues and employees may choose their bed space & location. Location availability is department dependent. The cost of housing is $225.00-$700.00 biweekly depending on the location and room style selected, and is due in advance. Depending on housing option availability, housing will be either single or double-room occupancy for Winter 2026/2027. A few couples' options may be available, but limited. Gallatin Gateway Inn (GGI), offers Schack's Depot for its residents. Schack's Depot is an a la carte dining option for dinner service with an online pre-ordering platform. Yellowstone Club uses an online portal, StarRez, for housing. Employees will be required to sign up for an account and make all of their payments via debit, credit, or ACH online. A small service fee is included with each non- ACH transaction (approximately 3% of the transaction amount). A $250.00 - $400.00 refundable security deposit is required, to be paid directly to the employer upon acceptance of housing. If all rent payments are made on time, the unit is left in a clean and move-in-ready condition, and all keys are returned, their deposit is eligible for return within 30 days of the full unit departure. Bedding and Terry are not provided, but sets are available for purchase prior to arrival through the housing portal. Prices range from $112 - $160 depending on bedding sizes.

Additional, optional benefits may be offered to the worker, for the worker’s sole benefit, including but not limited to an optional purchase of a ski pass. Upon reaching 3,200 hours worked (subject to certain conditions), the worker is considered “Key Seasonal” status and may be eligible for additional optional benefits, including medical, dental, and vision insurance through Blue Cross Blue Shield, as well as be able to accrue vacation and/or sick time. Workers that are not “Key Seasonal” status (under 3,200 hours worked) will be considered “Seasonal” status, and are ineligible to enroll in medical, dental, and vision insurance, and also will not be able to accrue vacation or sick time in “Seasonal” status. Both “Key Seasonal” and “Seasonal” workers are eligible to enroll in a 401k. If voluntarily elected by the worker, employee costs/contributions for benefits will be deducted from the paycheck.

All deductions from paycheck required by law will be made.

If the worker completes 50% of the work contract period, employer will pay directly for and/or reimburse workers for transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, employer will provide or pay for worker’s reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer. The employer will pay directly for and/or reimburse workers for all reasonable inbound transportation and subsistence costs within the first workweek. The employer will pay directly for and/or reimburse workers for all reasonable outbound transportation and subsistence costs during the last workweek. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of $16.78 per day during travel to a maximum of $68.00 per day with receipts.

The employer guarantees to offer work for hours equal to at least three fourths of the workdays in each 12-week period of the total employment period.

The employer will provide workers at no charge all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job.

H-2B workers will be reimbursed in the first workweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees, including those mandated by government (excluding passport fees).
