PART TIME POSITION: Westchester Family Seeking Warm & Active After-School Nanny Two busy, working parents in Westchester are seeking a reliable, engaging, and energetic nanny to care for their two children, ages 4 and 9 . The family is looking for a long-term partner who can provide consistent after-school support, help keep afternoons running smoothly, and become a trusted presence in their children’s lives. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys getting kids outdoors, facilitating playdates, transporting children to activities, and helping create a calm and organized end to the day.
DUTIES:
School pickups (currently two different pickup locations) and driving to afterschool activities Providing attentive after-school care Taking children to parks, activities, practices, and playdates Supervising swimming and water activities at the family’s club Preparing healthy snacks and simple dinners Helping children run off energy through active play Maintaining routines and providing structure after school Light child-related tidying and organization, general household assistance Monitoring food allergies and administering an EpiPen if needed in an emergency LOCATION: Westchester, CA SCHEDULE: Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays: 2:00-6, Tuesdays: 1-6, with flexibility to cover date nights on occasion COMPENSATION: $35–$40/hour DOEREQUIREMENTS:
Prior experience caring for multiple children Experience managing food allergies and willingness to administer an EpiPen if necessary Up to date on TDAP and MMR vaccinations The ideal candidate is warm, energetic, and proactive. They genuinely enjoy spending time with children, can keep up with active afternoons, and understand the importance of consistency for busy working families. Someone who naturally engages children, encourages outdoor play, and can confidently manage pickups, activities, snacks, and dinner prep will thrive in this role. The family has previously worked with college babysitters and is now hoping to find a more consistent, long-term nanny who can become an important part of their support system.
