Surgery Scheduler

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented scheduler to join our incredible team. As a Surgery Scheduler, you will play a crucial role in providing administrative support and ensuring the smooth operation of scheduling patients for surgery. This role will provide a high level of service in order to schedule procedures from physician according to established guidelines. A top candidate will posses excellent communication skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Responsibilities: Scheduling Surgical operations with excellence and care Provide a high level of service to patients Answer phone calls, take messages, and route calls to the appropriately Assist with medical administrative tasks including insurance verification and billing Obtaining pre-operative clearance and medical records Providing patients with directions before and after surgery. QUALIFICATIONS/ EDUCATION/ CRITICAL SKILLS

High school diploma or GED required Minimum of 2 years in a healthcare position preferred - but willing to train the right individual! Good verbal and written communication skills Basic knowledge of computers and office equipment Patient-focused with the ability to work independently Capability to adapt quickly and thrive in a fast-paced environment
