We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Receiving associate to join our warehouse team in Akron, Ohio. This role involves processing inbound shipments, ensuring accurate inventory recording, and supporting overall warehouse operations in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be comfortable handling items up to 30 lbs and performing routine receipt and shipping duties. Key Responsibilities
- Process inbound boxes and new receipts into the warehouse management system accurately
- Perform light computer work related to inventory and receipt documentation
- Handle and move boxes weighing up to 30 lbs as part of daily inbound operations
- Maintain a well-organized inventory by correctly recording incoming shipments
- Assist with general warehouse duties related to shipping and receiving operations
- Support team efforts to ensure timely and accurate receipt of shipments
- Experience with shipping and receiving processes
- General warehouse experience
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) or inventory software
- Basic computer skills relevant to receipt processing
- Standing for extended periods during shifts
- Handling items up to 30 lbs regularly
