We are currently looking for a Store Manager to join our team at the beginning of 2026. This position will involve all aspects of the daily running of a successful outdoor specialty retailer including merchandising, marketing, purchasing, hiring and team development and special event coordination. Your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to): Provide exceptional customer service through mentoring team members and leading as an example on the floor. Hire, train, and schedule staff while maintaining payroll targets. Achieve targets for sales, margins, customer service, and conversion rate. Execute and oversee daily store operations, including financial reporting, analysis, and coaching for success plans. Sales tracking and inventory supply management. Coordinate with our Marketing Director to produce social media content and execute marketing strategies. Monitor sales growth and profit margin objectives consistently in all channels of business. Organize and execute in-store sales, promotions, and events. Work with our Buyer to help identify the best brands, products, and successfully merchandise them. Build strong and mutually productive partnerships with suppliers and industry sales representatives. Adhere to and enforce all company policies and procedures. Ideally you will have: 3+ years of proven experience as a Store Manager or Assistant Manager in a specialty gear and apparel operation. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Merchandising skills and experience. Marketing skills and financial acumen. Scheduling flexibility including nights and weekends. Demonstrated ability to motivate, lead and delegate. Exhibit a high degree of flexibility, maintain a solution-driven focus in challenging situations, and adapt quickly to changing business requirements. Excellent computer skills and experience with the Microsoft Office Suite and POS systems.
