Industrial Forklift Repair Technician/Mechanic

Cardinal Staffing is interviewing for an Industrial Forklift Repair Technician/Mechanic position in Holly, MI. We're looking for candidates who have experience to diagnose mechanical, electrical, and performance issues specifically with propane and diesel forklifts.

Pay: $23 $30 per hour depending on experience.

Shift: Monday Friday 7 am 3:30pm plus occasional overtime.

Job Description:

• Troubleshooting & Diagnostics: Diagnose issues with propane and diesel forklifts.
• Preventive Maintenance: Perform scheduled maintenance (PMs) according to manufacturer specifications to prevent equipment downtime.
• Repair and replace components as necessary.
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repairs.
• Ensure all forklifts are in safe working condition and meet OSHA safety and operational standards.
• Fully participate in and support the Fabrication Quality System.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures especially concerning safety and personal conduct.
• Perform all other duties as listed in procedures and or assigned by managers.

Requirements:

• 1+ years of hands-on experience as a forklift mechanic, industrial maintenance mechanic, or heavy equipment technician preferred, but not required.
• Good understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic schematics.
• Must possess own tools.
• Ability to perform physical labor, lift up to 50 lbs., and stand or bend for extended periods.
• Must have basic reading, writing and math skills.
• Must be able to stand, walk, bend, twist, and any other movements required to do so.
