Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Brave Mind Mental Clinic, you will take on a variety of responsibilities that are crucial to the patients’ success, including:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments and evaluations to determine patient needs and develop effective treatment plans.

• Facilitating clear communication among supervisors, support staff, clients, and their families to relay progress updates and address concerns.
\n
• Creating and sharing tentative plans with supervisors outlining appointments, home visits, and observation sessions to ensure continuity of care.
\n
• Organizing and performing home visits as required for in-home observations, data collection, and analysis.
\n
• Preparing and submitting accurate monthly and quarterly progress reports, documenting patient advancement and any challenges encountered.
\n
• Conducting training sessions to equip team members with the necessary skills for effective program execution and accurate documentation practices.
\n
• Participating actively in Interdisciplinary Team Meetings to discuss patient care strategies and enhance treatment outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work with a diverse population, including children, adolescents, and adults, each presenting unique challenges and therapeutic needs. Your expertise will help address a wide array of issues, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship difficulties, and substance use disorders. Your contributions will not only enhance patient outcomes but also strengthen the vital connection between the general community and mental health resources.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Valid and unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Texas.

• A minimum of two years of clinical counseling experience is mandatory.

• Strong understanding of legal and ethical standards pertaining to mental health practices.
