Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough evaluations to assess the intensity, frequency, and duration of clients’ mood disorder symptoms.

• Develop individualized and culturally sensitive treatment plans that align with each client's unique needs and preferences.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

• Educate clients and families about mental health, treatment modalities, and self-care strategies to empower them on their healing journeys.

• Monitor client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers to deliver integrated care that addresses the whole person.

• Stay abreast of the latest research and advances in mood disorder treatment to effectively incorporate new findings into practice.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards.

• Engage in case consultations and team meetings to share insights and foster teamwork.

• Advocate for clients' mental health needs and educate the community to reduce stigma associated with mental health issues.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily work with clients experiencing mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety. You will provide therapeutic support to diverse populations, including vulnerable groups such as the homeless, refugees, and victims of domestic abuse. Your work will have a profound impact on facilitating their recovery and improving their quality of life.

Qualifications\n

• A current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

This position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $70,000 to $90,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
