We are currently searching for an HR Payroll Coordinator who has a high level of integrity, is hardworking, and motivated to join our team.Position SummaryPosition: HR Payroll CoordinatorClassification: Full Time; ExemptReports To: HR DirectorWork Location: In person; Gulf Freeway, South Houston, TXEssential Duties include but are not limited to:Review time sheets and other information to detect and reconcile payroll discrepanciesPrepares and processes weekly, semi, and monthly commission payrolls in ADP Workforce Now, and ensures compliance with federal, state, and local payroll, wage, and hour laws.Updates payroll changes and verifies that all time off requests have been approvedMaintains accurate records and reports of payroll transactions.Makes all payroll journal entries including 401k into CDK (DMS)Ensures Payroll GL files are accurate and posts GL after every processed payrollEnsures quarterly reporting and tax filing has been completePulls pay data and reports for accounting and auditsAssists and provides service to employees for payroll-related inquiriesOther Duties May be assignedKnowledge, Skills & Abilities:MS Office skillsExcellent written and oral communication skillsAbility to work independently and as a team, multitask, and meet payroll deadlinesExcellent problem-solving skills and attention to detailRelevant Work Experience & Other Requirements:High School Diploma2-4 years of payroll experience preferred, but not requiredADP WFN experience preferred, but not requiredMust meet dealership's requirements for employment, which include a background check and drug screeningMust have a valid driver's license and be insurable based on driving record.Must be a minimum of eighteen years of ageMust be punctual and reliable.Physical Requirements :Must be able to sit, stand, and/ or walk for extended periods of timeCompensation & Benefits:Paid Time Off401K retirement plan & annual employer matchHealth, Vision, and Dental benefitsHealth Savings AccountCompany Paid Life InsuranceDisability, Voluntary Life, & Supplemental plan optionsDiscounts, perks, and incentivesPaid TrainingOpportunity for Growth & DevelopmentSafe & Team Oriented Work Environment
