RV Service Technician

Camping World is seeking a Service Technician (Flat–Rate) for our growing team.We are ideally looking for someone with advanced diagnostic and repair skills for Recreational Vehicle (RV) coach systems, generators and coach body repairs. Someone who is passionate about fixing mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and maintenance problems would be ideal. A successful Recreational Vehicle (RV) Technician will have strong attention to detail, be self-motivated and well-versed in all maintenance and repairs. Camping World will pay to certify individuals not already certified. If you have experience in Any or all of these following fields ...we want to talk to you: Plumbing-Carpentry-HVAC-Electrical-Mechanical-RV Service.What You’ll Do:Provide and document complete diagnostic test and repair or replacement services to customersPerform electrical, plumbing, carpentry and appliance maintenanceTrack all parts and materials used in repairs or replacementsKeep supervisor appraised of work progressEnsure that the final work product meets quality standards and is inspected by supervisor or designeeMaintain a safe and clean work area for customers and coworkersWhat You'll Need to Have for the Role:Certification from college or technical school in trade field (HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Maintenance, etc.) is certainly helpful but, we also consider applicable work experienceMinimum of 1-year service technician experience or related fields preferredRVIA certification helpful but not required RVIA certification helpful but not requiredPotential exposure to heights and hazards related to working with electrical and welding equipmentPossible exposure to environmental conditions including heat, cold, humidity, noise, dust and wetnessProlonged periods of standing, stooping, crawling and bendingMust furnish own hand/shop toolsMust be able to lift up to 25 lbs and/or move up to 50 lbs. with assistive devicesValid driver's license preferredMay lift up to 25 lbs and/or move up to 50 lbs. with assistive devicesProlonged periods of standing, stooping, crawling, and bendingExposure to heights and hazards related to working with electrical and welding equipmentEnvironmental conditions include heat, cold, humidity, noise, dust and wetnessGeneral Compensation DisclosureThe pay range for this role considers several factors in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.
