Maintenance Technician

Maintenance TechnicianWe are a stable, small manufacturing company preparing for rapid growth over the next three years. To get there, we need an excellent multi-craft Maintenance Technician to take full ownership of our equipment and facilities maintenance. Make no mistake: this role is highly physical and hands-on. It requires a high tolerance for dirty, repetitive, and detail-intensive work. You will be performing daily machine maintenance, wrestling fluid systems, managing coolant and filters, and turning wrenches. Right now, you are a solo contributor; the Reliability Engineer and the Shop Hand rolled into one. However, because of our growth trajectory, you won't just follow a checklist. You will build on our existing PM program to keep up with our growth and get ahead of problems. As the company scales over the next 3 years, the goal is for you to build a team and grow into a Maintenance Manager role.The Dirty & Detail-Intensive Work: Perform fluid checks, manage bulk oils and coolants, change filters, grease components, and conduct full oil changes on hydraulic and high-pressure systems. Complete every task end-to-end, including reassembly and clean-up.Precision Mechanical Repair: Rebuild and maintain wire guides, tension sensors, die guides, ball screws, and linear guides.Electrical Troubleshooting: Diagnose 480V 3-phase power, motors, drives, and perform basic PLC troubleshooting to restore production.Program Ownership: Utilize world class PM software to minimize "firefighting" and maximize spindle uptime.
