*What does your day look like as an HVAC Service Technician?*

* You will maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and install ventilation and exhaust systems, air ducts with actuated dampers, remote AC equipment, and all other air tempering equipment.
* Maintain and repair hot water boilers, heat pumps of various tonnages, low-pressure steam boilers, forced hot and cool air systems, and other related equipment.
* Diagnose equipment malfunctions by auditory means and testing devices such as meters and probes.
* Listen and look for any abnormalities with the system, such as piston slap, oil leakage, and unusual or excessive vibration.
* Trace and troubleshoot control system wiring, connections, and ensure that all covers and panels are properly installed.
* Test for refrigerant leaks using a halide leak detector, a liquid soap solution, or other approved methods.
* Use oxyacetylene, propane torch for soldering and brazing pipe.
* Performs other duties as directed by your Supervisor.
