About the Role

The Company is in search of a Head of Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) to spearhead all related initiatives for a significant U.S. expansion project. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of EHS strategies that ensure regulatory compliance, operational excellence, and environmental stewardship. This role is pivotal in the support of site selection, facility design, construction, and long-term operations, and will involve close collaboration with executive leadership, engineering, operations, quality, and project teams. Key responsibilities include serving as the subject matter expert for process safety management, leading various safety and risk management processes, driving sustainability initiatives, and building a strong culture of safety and operational excellence. Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree in EHS, engineering, life sciences, or a related technical discipline, with a minimum of 10 years' progressive EHS leadership experience in a highly regulated manufacturing environment. The role requires a candidate with a strong background in process safety management, industrial hygiene, environmental compliance, and sustainability programs, particularly in GMP-regulated manufacturing settings. Hands-on experience with safety and risk management methodologies is essential, as is the proven ability to influence and lead cross-functional teams. The position demands a leader with excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills, who is also willing to relocate to a future manufacturing site as the project evolves.
