The Office of Admissions is hiring an Admissions Counselor! This position is the primary point of contact for students, the public, and internal stakeholders to establish positive college relationships. The Office of Admissions is a fast-paced office that welcomes a wide variety of students, staff, faculty, and their families to the University of Alaska Fairbanks. Our office is dynamic, fun, and collaborative. The Admissions Counselor is a core part of our team and counsels prospective and recently admitted students on the transfer process and opportunities at the University.

The responsibilities of this position include customer service, administrative support, and application processing. Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree required and two years of relevant work experience, or an equivalent combination of training and experience. Valid driver's license.

Position Details:

This is a full-time, exempt staff position complete with both a competitive salary and full employee benefits package. UA provides a generous compensation package that includes retirement options, annual leave, 12 paid holidays per year, tuition waivers for employees and family members, and affordable medical, dental and vision care coverage. New hires will be placed on the UA Staff Salary Schedule, Grade 78, based on education and experience.
