Scrub Tech, Variable Part-Time Rotating Shifts, Labor and Delivery

Scrub Tech I (Non-Certified)
Shady Grove Medical Center seeks to hire an experienced Scrub Tech I (non-certified) for our Labor and Delivery Department who will embrace our mission to extend God's care through the ministry of physical, mental, and spiritual healing. As a Scrub Tech I you will:
- Assist the surgical team in providing a safe, appropriate, and culturally aware patient care
- Help surgeons during surgery by passing them instruments and other sterile supplies
- Prepare the operation room with all the necessary supplies
- Properly sterilize required instruments and supplies
- Serve as surgical assistant as needed
- Assist in order and restocking operating room supplies and instruments
Qualifications include:
- High school or GED required
- Graduate of an accredited surgical technician program and certified eligible
- 1 year hospital operating room experience preferred
Work Schedule:
- Employment Type: Variable part-time
- Hours per week: 24 hrs/per month, potential for additional hours
- Typical daily schedule: 2x 12 hr shifts per month
- Shift type: Rotating shifts (days & nights)
- Weekend requirements: Required per unit need
- Holiday requirements: Required per unit need
- Shift differential eligible: Yes
Pay Range:
$26.91 - $39.03
If the salary range is not displayed or if the position is per diem (with a fixed rate), salary discussions will take place during the screening process.
