Accounting Supervisor (AP, AR & Payroll Focus)

PrideStaff is seeking a dynamic Accounting Supervisor to lead core financial operations for a growing organization. Reporting directly to the Controller, you will oversee Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Payroll while supporting daily treasury functions. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who excels at managing core accounting workflows, mentoring a team, and driving process efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• AP & AR Leadership: Oversee daily end-to-end AP/AR operations, vendor invoice approvals, billing, payment applications, and account reconciliations across multiple entities.
• Payroll Oversight: Direct and approve full-cycle payroll processing, maintaining strong team cross-training to guarantee uninterrupted operations.
• Treasury & Cash Management: Monitor daily cash positions, coordinate payment releases, and reconcile cash accounts.
• Team Development: Lead, train, and mentor direct reports, fostering a collaborative, solution-oriented environment.
• Process Improvement: Streamline manual workflows, update standard operating procedures, and optimize system efficiency while maintaining strong internal controls.

Qualifications

• Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business, plus 5+ years of relevant accounting experience with 1+ years in a supervisory role.
• Core Expertise: Proven, hands-on experience managing AP, AR, and full-cycle payroll.
• Technical Skills: Advanced MS Excel skills. Experience with enterprise ERPs (e.g., Dynamics 365 Business Central), payroll platforms (ADP, Primo Payday), or specialized accounting software highly preferred (non-QuickBooks environment).
• Key Traits: Strong problem-solving ability, exceptional attention to detail, and a team-first mindset in a fast-paced setting.

Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $85,000.00 - $95,000.00
