Reinsurance Business Analyst

Job Title Senior Specialist - Business Analysis Qualifications The analyst should have prior knowledge and experience with preferably reinsurance actuarial reserving reporting processes and would be able to quickly understand the firm's calculations, data, and processes. Responsibilities Analyze existing mostly Excel SQL actuarial reports and measures and instruct developers on how to replace these reports within our Segment Data Warehouse. This may include: Clarification on key calculations and analysis of the underlying data. In some circumstances development of requirements documentation and acceptance criteria. Perform Quality Assurance (QA) testing to validate that new reports and measures meet requirements. This may include: Validation that the data the report produces matches the expected results. Assistance with troubleshooting issues through data analysis. Coordinate and own User Testing and Signoff. Responsible for coordination of acceptance testing through signoff. Compensation Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, performance and internal equity. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum salary target for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and job level and additional factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Depending on the position offered, other forms of compensation may be provided as part of overall compensation like an annual performance-based bonus, sales incentive pay and other forms of bonus or variable compensation.
