Seeking an experienced professional to support Pre-K through 8th grade students on a contract basis. This opportunity centers on district-level psychological services, focusing primarily on evaluations rather than building-based, day-to-day support. Enjoy the consistency of working out of the district office with a manageable caseload—last year, 63 evaluations were completed. Additional duties include overseeing Early Intervention transitions (including TPBA, with 17 cases last year), leading domain meetings, and participating in MTSS referral meetings when necessary.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid IL Professional Educator License (PEL) and School Psychologist credential (Pending accepted for travel professionals)
• Demonstrated skills in school-based psychological evaluations, assessments, and report writing
• Experience with early childhood assessment (Pre-K) and transitioning students from Early Intervention services is preferred
• Ability to facilitate meetings, communicate effectively, and manage varied responsibilities with autonomy
• Familiarity with MTSS processes and procedures a plus

Daily Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychological and educational evaluations for Pre-K through 8th grade students
• Run domain meetings and contribute professional insights on student needs
• Oversee EI transition process, including Transdisciplinary Play-Based Assessments (TPBA)
• Attend MTSS referral meetings for individual students as needed
• Maintain accurate records and support collaborative district processes
• No requirements for CPI training due to office-based role

Position Details:

• Contract assignment with immediate start available
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:45 AM to 3:30 PM
• Assignment through June 19th, 2027
