As a contract professional, you will oversee evaluations rather than daily in-building support, making this an excellent opportunity for those who thrive on assessment and collaborative processes. Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) and School Psychologist endorsement (pending applications considered for travel professionals)
• Experience conducting educational evaluations in pre-K through 8th-grade settings preferred
• Ability to facilitate and manage domain meetings with professionalism
• Familiarity with early intervention transitions and related best practices
• Skilled in collaborating within Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS)
• Comfortable working independently, with limited daily student/staff contact

Responsibilities:

• Administer and complete evaluations for eligible students (approximately 63 completed last year, evals only)
• Lead and coordinate domain meetings efficiently and effectively
• Oversee Early Intervention (EI) transition processes, including the TPBA (17 cases managed last year)
• Participate in MTSS referral meetings for students as needed
• Maintain comprehensive documentation and adhere to district and state compliance requirements
