Key Qualifications and Experience:

• Hold, or qualify for, an Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a school psychology endorsement (pending permitted for travel professionals).
• Experience working as a school psychologist in educational settings preferred.
• Skilled in running domain meetings and conducting comprehensive student evaluations.
• Ability to oversee Early Intervention (EI) transition processes, including TPBA.
• Comfortable collaborating with Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) teams and attending referral meetings as needed.
• No CPI training required; no day-to-day behavioral interventions involved.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and lead domain meetings to ensure effective assessment planning.
• Complete student evaluations for a caseload averaging 63 annually; the role is focused solely on evaluations.
• Oversee the Early Intervention (EI) transition process, with an average of 17 transitions annually.
• Attend MTSS referral meetings for individual students, supporting data-driven decisions for interventions and supports.
• Provide professional insight from a district-level perspective; role is based in the district office with minimal involvement in daily student or staff issues at individual schools.

Schedule and Details:

• Contract role, with hours from 7:45 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday.
• Immediate start available, with the position running through June 19th, 2027.
