Director, Business Systems - Biometrics
Corcept Therapeutics
Corcept Therapeutics seeks a Director of Business Systems focused on Biometrics to lead the design and delivery of platforms, workflows, and data systems supporting clinical development. The role partners across biometrics, IT, and business teams to translate scientific needs into functional specifications and drive continuous improvement of analytics and statistical computing environments.
Responsibilities
- Define business and functional requirements for biometrics platforms, statistical programming, and clinical reporting workflows
- Lead cross-functional efforts to optimize SAS and Posit Connect environments on Linux for performance and scalability
- Develop and implement Tableau analytics and visualization capabilities with adoption standards across the organization
- Establish Git/GitHub standards and enforce version control discipline across biometrics teams
- Create delivery artifacts including user stories, functional specifications, acceptance criteria, and requirements traceability matrices
Requirements
- Experience leading business and functional requirements definition for data, analytics, or clinical platforms
- Proficiency with SAS, statistical programming environments, and Linux-based system administration
- Demonstrated expertise in Tableau or similar analytics and visualization tools
- Strong knowledge of Git/GitHub version control, branching strategies, and code review practices
- Experience with Python development and data engineering tools or utilities
- Cross-functional project leadership and vendor/stakeholder management skills
- Understanding of clinical development, regulatory compliance, or validated system change processes
