Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at Inner Horizon Counseling, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Conducting comprehensive clinical assessments to evaluate clients’ mental health statuses, histories, and treatment needs.

• Developing personalized, evidence-based treatment plans that incorporate various therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT).

• Implementing therapeutic interventions and closely monitoring client progress through scheduled sessions and follow-ups, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.

• Maintaining accurate clinical records, ensuring compliance with HIPAA and other regulatory standards, thus protecting client confidentiality and data integrity.

• Engaging in regular case consultations and peer review meetings to discuss complex cases, share insights, and enhance treatment methods.

• Providing education and resources to clients and their families about mental health challenges, treatment options, and local support services, thereby fostering empowerment and collaboration.

• Remaining informed about the latest research and advancements in mental health practices to ensure the highest quality of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of this role is to support individuals in recovery from substance use disorders within our Detox Center. Clients come from diverse backgrounds and may present with a range of mental health concerns, exacerbated by their addiction challenges. As their advocate, you will facilitate access to various therapeutic services aimed at improving their overall well-being, addressing both psychological and emotional health needs.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution, demonstrating academic achievement and professional integrity.

• A current license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of New York, validating your qualifications to practice independently.

• A minimum of three years of professional clinical experience, equipping you with the insights and skills necessary to effectively tackle the complexities of client care.

Preferred Experience\n

Experience working in a detox or substance abuse treatment setting is highly preferred, as is familiarity with telehealth practices. An understanding of dual diagnosis cases—clients with both mental health and substance use disorders—will also be beneficial.

Compensation and Benefits\n

In recognition of your expertise and commitment, we offer a competitive salary range of USD 115,000 to 130,000 per year.
