Community Relations Liaison

Overview Under the leadership of the Directors of Business Development and other leadership and in partnership with the Account Executive team, the Community Relations Liaison will serve as subject‑matter expert for Rogers service lines, leveraging operational and clinical knowledge to promote Rogers services to key stakeholders in the community. This role uses territory management within a traditional sales model to develop new and maintain existing referral relationships, plan and implement strategic initiatives, and meet or exceed quotas. Job Duties & Responsibilities The Community Relations Liaison is responsible for developing, managing, and furthering enduring alliances with existing and prospective referring providers; identifying new referral and partnership opportunities; developing, maintaining, and advancing strategic referent relationships; enhancing alliance workflow and standards; and planning and implementing proactive growth tactics daily. Engage customers to deliver an action‑oriented, patient‑focused sales message. Maintain persistent and consultive sales approach with psychologists, therapists, social workers, psychiatrists, school counselors, and other referral sources. Manage a dynamic territory, including routing, goal attainment, and time allocation. Foster and maintain alliances with key internal and external stakeholders. Conduct daily face‑to‑face and virtual meetings, including regular cold calls to new or existing customers. Organize daily activities such as Lunch & Learns, breakfasts, dinner programs, professional networking events, and other results‑oriented appointments. Monitor expenditures and utilize budget allocation effectively. Assist in planning and executing continuing education events and promoting CE webinars and in‑person sessions. Lead on‑site campus and program tours. Use phone, email, social media, and other communications to maintain frequent contact with referents and remain top of mind. Meet activity, census, and individual objectives set by department leadership. Document, report, and analyze data in CRM software, complete monthly operational reporting, and submit expense reports in a timely manner. Knowledge, Training and Communication The role requires a commitment to ongoing learning, ability to communicate complex behavioral health topics, and maintain knowledge of behavioral health programming, diagnoses, and trends. Effectively communicate efficacy, patient types, and outcomes of Rogers programming. Demonstrate local, regional, and national market knowledge. Participate in training and educational opportunities to build and maintain expertise. Education / Training Requirements Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in business, communications, psychology, social work, or a related major. Minimum 2 years of business development and/or related experience. Experience with strategic planning, new business development, and negotiation. Computer proficiency; working knowledge of Word and Excel. Valid driver’s license. Must be granted insurable status by Rogers insurance policy. Lived experience valued.
