We are seeking a dedicated Environmental Services Aide (Housekeeper) who takes pride in their work and enjoys making a positive impact every day.Pay Range: $15.50 - $18.00/hour (Final offer based on candidate's experience and culinary skills)In this role, you will help ensure that resident apartments, common areas, and community spaces are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and appearance. Your attention to detail and commitment to excellent service will help create a welcoming atmosphere that residents, families, and team members are proud to call home.What You'll DoClean and maintain resident apartments, bathrooms, hallways, offices, and common areas according to established standards.Perform routine housekeeping duties, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, sanitizing, and waste removal.Maintain cleanliness of furnishings, fixtures, and equipment.Replenish supplies and ensure housekeeping carts and storage areas remain organized.Follow all safety, infection control, and environmental services procedures.Respond promptly and courteously to resident requests and concerns.Report maintenance or safety issues to the appropriate department.Support a positive, resident-centered environment through exceptional customer service.What You'll BringRequired QualificationsAbility to perform physical tasks including standing, walking, bending, lifting, and pushing housekeeping equipment throughout the shift.Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and safety.Reliable attendance and a positive, team-oriented attitude.Preferred QualificationsPrevious housekeeping, environmental services, janitorial, or hospitality experience.Experience working in a healthcare, senior living or hospitality setting.Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and infection prevention practices.Why Join Us?At NLCS, you'll become part of a mission-driven organization dedicated to enriching lives and building meaningful connections.
