Quality Control Technician

Quality Control TechnicianSURESTAFF is immediately hiring for a detail-oriented Quality Control Technician for a large, well known company in Glendale Heights, IL. A successful Quality Control Technician should have excellent troubleshooting skills, have experience inspecting product in a fast-paced industrial manufacturing environment, and be able to ensure that product consistently meets quality standards and guidelines. SURESTAFF is invested in their team members! All temp-to-hire employees are offered competitive compensation ($18-$20hr) as well as a benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision). Available shifts include 2:30pm-11pm.Responsibilities of the Quality Control TechnicianResponsibility for accepting or rejecting products as well as raw materials as necessary.Reviewing specifications, standards and or test plans and making recommendations.Keep record of issues found and may send defective products back to the production line or supplies for repair.Review and implement corrective actions to the product and/or process, while reporting results.Conduct testing on products or processes to determine how the products or processes perform in a simulated environment.Retrieval and verification of All Certificate of Analysis (COA’s) prior to unloading.Make recommendations for process improvements within the inventory function.Any other duties as requested by management.Required Qualifications of the Quality Control TechnicianSAP experience a plus.Previous experience required.Prolonged periods of standing and traverse facility on unforgiving surfaces.Basic computer skills for email and data entry.Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Bilingual English-Spanish is a plus.Mask must be worn during shift.At Surestaff, we are dedicated to helping individuals unlock their career potential through meaningful job opportunities.
