HEALTHCARE EDI/ERA ENROLLMENT SPECIALIST | DETAILS AND COMPENSATION:

• Location: Louisville KY 40222 – Hybrid
• Payrate: $23/hr
• Required Availability: Full-Time | Monday – Friday 8a-5p
• • Monday & Tuesday onsite; Wednesday – Friday WFH

HEALTHCARE EDI/ERA ENROLLMENT SPECIALIST | SUMMARY AND HIGHLIGHTS:

The  Healthcare EDI/ERA Enrollment Specialist  will manage electronic claims, remittance, and enrollment processes through healthcare clearinghouse platforms. The ideal candidate will have  hands-on Waystar experience , including EDI/ERA enrollments, work group setup and monitoring, and resolving rejected or denied claims.

This role requires strong attention to detail, analytical and troubleshooting skills, and advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel.

• This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs

HEALTHCARE EDI/ERA ENROLLMENT SPECIALIST | RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Complete EDI/ERA registrations accurately and within required timelines.
• Enroll providers/accounts for electronic claims submission and electronic remittance.
• Generate, monitor, and follow up on EDI agreements and implementation requirements.
• Set up and maintain work groups within Waystar.
• Monitor work groups and troubleshoot enrollment-related issues.
• Investigate and resolve enrollment denials, errors, rejected claims, and correspondence with payers.
• Maintain accurate documentation throughout the enrollment process.
• Respond to requests related to clearinghouse services, including user setup, permissions, and work group additions.
• Monitor enrollment status and follow up with payers or clearinghouses as needed.
• Maintain knowledge of department workflows, systems, and tools.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

HEALTHCARE EDI/ERA ENROLLMENT SPECIALIST | REQUIREMENTS :

• Education: High School Diploma or GED (verifiable)
• Attendance: Commitment to mandatory attendance during the first 90 days.
• Previous  EDI/ERA enrollment experience REQUIRED .
• Extensive hands-on Waystar experience is required.
• Experience setting up and monitoring Waystar work groups.
• Experience enrolling for electronic claims and remittances.
• Experience working with rejected and denied claims in Waystar or similar clearinghouse systems.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including  VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables .
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience with other healthcare clearinghouse platforms such as  Availity .
• Healthcare revenue cycle, claims, billing, or payer enrollment experience.
• Experience with EDI, ERA, EFT, and electronic claims workflows.
