Position Summary:

In this position, you will perform an array of functions that may include receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, or managing, organizing and retrieving stock in outdoor pipe yard.  

Responsibilities:

• Assist shipping and receiving unloading trucks and checking in merchandise  
• Sort and place material or items on racks, shelves or in bins according to organizational standards  
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat; sweep, dust and mop.  
• Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures including PPE requirements to perform the job safely  

Requirements:

• 3+ years of warehouse related experience in shipping and receiving  
• 3+ years of forklift experience, certification required
• Experience handling pipe (both carbon and stainless steel) a plus  
• Excellent work ethic: ability to work self-directed and as a flexible team player  
• Ensure all safety rules are strictly observed  
• Regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms and talk or hear  
• Regularly lift and/or move objects 10-50 lbs. Occasionally lift and/or move objects that weigh more than 100 lbs. (with the proper lifting equipment)  
• Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl  

Schedule:

• 1st Shift | Monday – Friday | 7:00 am – 5:00 pm

Compensation:

• $22.00 - $24.00 per hour, based on experience
