Research Coordinator 2

Overview Job Description: In this highly technical, fast-paced, and challenging position, you\'ll collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to provide the very best care for our patients. The Research Coordinator 2 performs coordination of all phases of the research process, including attainment of required approvals, coordination of data collection, management, patient follow-up and tracking. Responsibilities Coordinate all phases of assigned clinical trials: ensuring protocol compliance Collect, interpret and report all clinical data Maintain drug inventory Prepare charts for clinic: pull charts prior to clinic visit; organize data pertinent to clinic visit; complete case report forms Attend regular meetings with physicians and other research staff to obtain updates on progress Track lab results and ensure timely receipt for review Triager all patient calls (research related or standard of care) considering treatment status Assist with writing protocols Follow patients throughout the study and develop a working knowledge of the disease under study Perform rating scales and/or tools under investigation Communicate clearly and openly; build collaborative relationships; be accountable for performance Seek opportunities to improve the patient experience and take initiative for professional growth Qualifications Bachelor degree or Medical Assistant in appropriate discipline RN degree preferred Medical Assistant Certification, and/or a Certified Clinical Research Coordinator (CCRC) required LVN or RN license, preferred 2 or more years of related experience Work Details Hours of Work: 40 Days of Week: 5 #J-18808-Ljbffr Methodist Health System
