A premier woman-owned Auto Body Shop specializing in high-quality auto collision repair, scratch and dent repair, and professional auto detailing in Ronkonkoma, NY is hiring an Office Manager to join their team. They are looking for an experienced, detail-oriented Office Manager to be the operational heart of their fast-paced auto body shop. This critical, full-time role involves complete management of the office, focusing heavily on financial transactions, accurate record-keeping, and the smooth administration of insurance claims. The ideal candidate will take initiative, be organized, and possess a background in administrative management, preferably within the auto body or claims industry. Key details include: Salary: $23 - $25 per hour Shift: First Work hours: 8 AM - 4:30 PM Education: High School Responsibilities Office Operations: Completely operate and manage the day-to-day functions of the office, ensuring efficiency and professionalism. Financial Administration: Accurately handle all incoming and outgoing financial transactions, including: Making daily deposits, including processing mobile deposits via the company website. Managing credit transactions and processing customer returns. Claims Management: Act as the primary administrative support for all insurance claims, ensuring documentation and communication are accurate and timely from start to finish. Communication: Serve as the main point of contact for the shop, answering all incoming phone calls and directing inquiries to the appropriate personnel or corresponding via email using Microsoft Outlook. Record Keeping: Utilize Microsoft Excel to manage data, track key metrics, and maintain highly organized electronic and physical files.
