Input information regarding student awards, event attendance,tuition payments, book allowances, stipends, and other financialtransactions into the system. Ensure the completeness and integrity of financial data,verifying accuracy and resolving discrepancies as needed. Perform system audits to maintain data quality and adherence toestablished financial procedures and guidelines. Data Management and Reporting Maintain a comprehensive and up-to-date database of financialrecords, ensuring data integrity, security, andconfidentiality. Generate regular financial reports for the grant managementteam, providing insights and analysis as required. Collaborate with the grant management team to develop andimplement financial tracking metrics, KPIs, and benchmarks. Prepare financial documentation, reports, and presentations forinternal and external stakeholders. Compliance and Documentation: Ensure compliance with applicable financial regulations,policies, and procedures. Maintain proper documentation for auditing and reportingpurposes, ensuring transparency and accountability. Assist with internal and external audits, providing necessaryfinancial records and documentation. Stay informed about changes in financial regulations and bestpractices, proactively implementing necessary updates to maintaincompliance. Stakeholder Support Serve as the primary point of contact for students, faculty,and staff seeking assistance with financial matters related to theUjami grant. Provide guidance and support to stakeholders regardingfinancial processes, policies, and deadlines. Address inquiries, resolve issues, and elevate complex mattersto the appropriate departments or personnel. Ensure a positive and inclusive financial experience for allstakeholders involved in the grant project. Minimum Qualifications These are the job duties for required of the position Education Bachelor’s degree Experience Proven experience in financial management, tracking, andreporting. Knowledge Skills and Abilities Strong understanding of financial systems, databases, and softwareapplications. Knowledge of financial regulations, policies, andbest practices. Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Strong organizationaland time management skills. Effective communication andinterpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a teamenvironment. Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-makingabilities. Familiarity with grant management processes andprocedures is a plus.
