Professional House Cleaner

Bender Companies is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team at one of our apartment communities in Minneapolis . In this role, you will help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, is highly attentive to detail, and understands the importance of cleanliness in both shared and private living spaces. Experience in custodial or janitorial roles, especially in residential or commercial settings, is preferred. A strong work ethic, reliability, and ability to work independently or as part of a team are key to success. Job Type : Full-time Pay : $18-$19/hr Schedule : 8AM to 4:30 PM (however hours may vary) Monday to Friday Here are some things that will make you successful: Reliable transportation to get to work Previousexperience as a cleaner, janitor, or custodian in residential, commercial, or hospitality settings Familiarity with the proper use and care of cleaning equipment and chemicals Understanding of s afe handling and disposal of cleaning agents and hazardous materials Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and with minimal supervision Strong attention to detail and a passion for keeping spaces clean and safe Dependable, punctual, and committed to high-quality work Ability to lift up to 50 pounds What you will be doing: As a Cleaner , you will be responsible for keeping our apartment buildings and common areas in top condition. Your work will directly contribute to resident satisfaction and the overall appeal of the community. You will assist in both day-to-day cleaning duties and special projects, including preparing vacant units for new residents. Core responsibilities include: Clean and sanitize hallways, lobbies, stairwells, laundry rooms, and other common areas Assist with cleaning and preparing vacant units for move-ins, including floors, appliances, and fixtures Report maintenance issues, damages, or safety concerns to the maintenance or management team Help maintain property grounds, including picking up debris, sweeping walkways, and emptying trash bins Safely handle cleaning chemicals and equipment according to company policies and safety guidelines Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report when restocking is necessary Support other staff with occasional light maintenance or turnover tasks as needed Other duties as assigned Where you will work: This position will require you to work on-site at the property in Minneapolis .
