Volt is immediately hiring for Assembly Operator I at Landisville, Pennsylvania 17538 .

As an Assembly Operator I, you will:
Be Responsible for preparing machines and equipment for daily use, Use of inspection tools, independently complete quality inspection documentation.

Responsibilities

• Preparing machines and equipment for daily use
• Perform quality checks
• Communicate with set-up, technician, and supervisor any issues that may arise during operations
• Use of inspection tools, independently complete quality inspection documentation, and make necessary adjustments, understand gauging and visual inspection tooling, attention to detailed processes
• Perform quality work checks to ensure the product meets quality standards
• Identify product defects and complete appropriate documentation and notification when defects are identified.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma (or years of experience)
• Experience in a manufacturing environment
• Experience interacting with mechanical systems
• Proficient with use of inspection equipment such as calipers, micrometers, and optical comparators for dimensional inspection of materials
• Read, interpret, and follow basic blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and other written instructions or procedures to accurately set up and assemble products
• Basic computer navigation and utilization skills

Schedule: 2nd shift- 2:00pm- 10:00pm
3rd shift - 10:00pm- 6:00am

Location - Landisville, Pennsylvania 17538

Pay Range: $18.00 - $19.80/hour

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
