Qualifications:

• Active Occupational Therapy license in New York (NY OT)
• Experience working with school-aged populations preferred
• Familiarity with school-based OT services, assessments, and interventions
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to create and implement individualized treatment plans

Responsibilities:

• Provide occupational therapy services to students across a range of abilities and needs
• Conduct evaluations and develop individualized education program (IEP) goals
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and other specialists to develop and monitor progress
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation for all services provided
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional insights for student success
• Provide support and education on adaptive strategies to staff and families as needed

What to Expect:

• Contract position with a start date as soon as possible
• 35 hours per week, Monday through Friday
• Work primarily with school-aged children
• Assignment eligible for renewal for the next school year
